Pittypalooza dedicated to finding bully breeds a forever home September 21, 2015 Do you like dogs? Live music? And enjoy eating? What if I told you that you could attend an event where you could enjoy all of those things while supporting a local Chicago-area rescue who saves dogs from “high kill” shelters? I know, I can’t think of a better way to spend an evening either! Peace for Pits, Inc. is a Chicago-area based 501(c)(3) charitable organization which functions as a rescue that focuses on finding loving, caring homes for “bully” breeds in need of help. Many of these dogs come from “high kill” facilities across Illinois. Our mission is to save as many of these dogs from euthanasia as possible. We are a 100% volunteer run organization with every dog living in a wonderful foster home from the day it becomes a part of our rescue until the day they get adopted into an amazing forever home. On October 17, 2015 Peace for Pits, Inc. is hosting “Pittypalooza,” a fundraiser at Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m. The cost of the event is $35.00 in advance or $40.00 at the door. The price of admission includes food, drink and live bands. More info about the event can be found HERE, and tickets can be purchased HERE. So keep your calendar clear on October 17 and come out for what is sure to be a “pittie” good time! Watch the amazing stories of.. Mama Honey, Henry, And Dottie!
