Amanda Turnbull here to tell you all about the 5th Annual Autism Speaks Hero Bash! I’ve Co-Chaired the Autism Speaks Heroes Bash for the past five years. Myself and Billy Dec share a passion for fundraising—we first met in 2002 doing a Bachelor/Bachelorette Charity Auction for the Starlight Children’s Foundation. Billy and Rockit Ranch Productions have generously supported the Autism Speaks Heroes Bash since its inception in 2008 and we couldn’t thank them enough! Be a Hero, Have a Ball! Join Ted Brunson, of WGN’s “Chicago’s Best,” Ed Swiderski of “The Bachelorette” and “Bachelor Pad” fame, renowned DJ Jason Kalendr, and other notable guests for the Autism Speaks Heroes Bash, this Thursday, November 29th, 6pm-9pm, at Sushi Samba. This is not your average fundraiser! This lively event is known for having the best drinks, the best vibe and the best crowd—drawing a who’s who of Chicago’s most social and generous young professionals.

This year’s Heroes Bash will recognize the 2012 Chicago Autism Speaks Heroes of the Year, Carly Sproul Cook and Lynn Pedotto, two highly deserving local autism heroes. The event also features a premium open bar, sushi stations, delicious hors d’oeuvres, silent auction, entertainment, deluxe Scotch-tasting, tequila bar, surprise guests and more.

The Autism Speaks Heroes Bash honors local autism heroes and raises funds and awareness for the Chicagoland Chapter of Autism Speaks, the nation’s leading non-profit dedicated to finding a cause and a cure for autism.
