Celebrity Chef Ball 2014 Brings Together the Best of Chicago Food and Drink!

Hello, everyone!  I’m Chris Kierig, Communications Manager at Meals on Wheels Chicago.  I am so exciting to tell you all about an exciting event, the Celebrity Chef Ball, on Friday, November 7!

The Celebrity Chef Ball is Chicago’s premier culinary event.  This year, it is going to be held at Chicago’s newest event space, Morgan Manufacturing (401 N. Morgan St., Chicago).  Housed in a completely renovated, pre-Chicago Fire building, Morgan Manufacturing offers of 32,000 square feet and provides an amazing setting for this year’s event.

The Celebrity Chef Ball features an interactive dining experience with some of Chicago’s best chefs; indulgent dishes and desserts; custom cocktails; silent auction; and entertainment by DJ Lani Love. Proceeds from the event support Meals on Wheels Chicago’s mission to promote independence for Chicago seniors and individuals with disabilities through meal delivery and home modifications.

We are super excited about the great chefs participating in the event, including Jess DeGuzman from Sunda New Asian, Amanda Downing from Rockit Bar & Grill, and Kevin Hickey at Bottlefork!  We will have nearly 100 chefs and mixologists on hand to create tasty dishes, awesome desserts, and the perfect cocktail just for you!
