Chicago-Inspired Halloween Costumes October 28, 2014 Hey guys, its Alex! I have some great Chicago inspired ideas for you! It’s the most frightful time of the year: Halloween! That means bringing a little spirit into your costume, and what better spirit than showing some love for the Windy City? Chicago themed costumes are fun and simple for anyone. Let’s get started! Ladies first right? Every girl wants to be cute or funny on Halloween. I have the perfect suggestion. You can pull a Miley and dress up in your favorite Bulls jersey! This can even be a group costume. Whether it is Jordan, Pippen or D-Rose, the group will be on their A-game. You can even make it in to a dress like this costume and definitely score some points on your outfit. If you’re looking to represent one of Chicago’s favorite deep-dish pizzas, check out this pizza costume! A bit cheesy, but it will be topping all other costumes! I’m sure it will have everyone else looking ‘crusty’ in comparison at any party you go to! As for the gentlemen out there, I’ve got a couple ideas for you too. The easiest costume to ‘bear’ your spirit would be to put on your favorite football jersey! You could be Cutler or any player that is your ‘Forte’. Just add two black lines on your face and you’re set! Even the little ones can disguise themselves as former Bears coach Mike Ditka like this little guy! You can also do this with the Blackhawks, Cubs, or White Sox. Show your Chicago spirit! You can also give a nod to one of the most classic films of all time! You and a friend can dress up as The Blues Brothers. All you need are dark suits, sunglasses and black hats and you are set to be one of the most famous Chicago duos of all time! As for our favorite furry creatures, they need costume ideas too! How about a Chicago style hot dog? This would be especially funny if you have a dachshund! However, I’m sure any pet would look deliciously adorable sporting this Chicago tribute and would relish in the moment. Give them something to bark about! Until next time, stay SPOOKY Chicago!
