Dress to Impress with 1,600 Other Young Professionals in Chicago – February 2nd! January 26, 2013 Hey guys, it’s Kate & Alex from Junior Council, here to give you the scoop about a Chicago event that cannot be missed! On February 2nd, join Children’s Memorial Junior Council at its biggest event of the year, Snowball. We will be hosting 1,600 of Chicago’s young professionals sporting black tie dress at Chicago’s historic Union Station! This year is extremely exciting for us since we are celebrating our 25th anniversary, and we are lucky to partner with some of the most premier vendors in Chicago… Our Sponsors include: Restaurants – Wildfire, Cafe BaBaReeba!, Gibson’s, The Bedford, Carriage House, Mon Ami Gabi, Zapatista, South Branch, Starfruit, Oak Mill Bakery, Chicago q, and more! Beverage – Budweiser, Red Bull, Stella Artois, and Buffalo Trace Whiskey. Entertainment – Rod Tuffcurls and the Benchpress! If you are new to Uber, don’t forget to obtain your code for a FREE Uber ride to the event! The Junior council is an awareness and fundraising-based organization directly supporting the Dr. Yogev Treatment Fund at Lurie Childen’s Memorial Hospital. The fund was established in 1988 to ensure that all children with HIV/AIDS have access to high quality pediatric healthcare regardless of their ability to pay for health coverage. Last year the event raised over $125,000 and we hope to exceed expectations this year! Plus, who doesn’t like getting fancy for a cause? Here is a little taste of the event from 2012: Please come out for delicious food, drinks, and dancing all to support a great cause next Saturday, February 2nd! Also, if you are interested in getting involved with Junior Council, we are always looking for new members. The organization’s fun, laid-back yet motivated culture offers young professionals an outlet to volunteer and donate to the Children’s Hospital.
