Spring Thaw: The Talking Farm’s Spring Thaw Celebration

Spring is here and that means it’s time to rethink how we buy our produce. The Spring Thaw event hosted by The Talking Farm is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the start of the growing season, while basking in the beauty at Farmhouse Evanston. On March 22^nd from 5-8pm, guests will be able to enjoy appetizers and a buffet dinner featuring ingredients from local urban farms, and live music from The Greenleaf Band. Proceeds from the money raised will be donated to The Talking Farm’s educational programs and farm.

The Talking Farm believes that fresh produce is best served and farmed locally! Not only is supporting local farmers important, but it is also one of the surest ways to guarantee a healthy meal from seed to plate. Guests will also be able to learn the latest scoop and plans for The Talking Farm’s 2015 Howard Street Farm.
