So when the new trend of the Rave Run started spreading around Chicago, I knew I had to join in!

20th Anniversary Bear Tie Ball

Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation is hosting its largest annual Bear Tie Ball to date! This year marks 20 years as the foundation devoted to eliminating pediatric cancer, as well as providing support and resources to those affected. The ball will take place March 9th at 6pm, at the UIC forum. Guests can dance, dine, and participate in auctions throughout the night, and will be given the chance to hear eight year old honorary Bear Hug Ambassador Theo Yianas share his story of strength.

Wits’ Associates Board Presents: The Blackboard Affair

What better way to celebrate Mardi Gras in Chicago this year than with a themed cocktail party featuring a premium open bar, heavy hors d'oeuvres, a live dj, amazing raffle packages and dancing?! The annual Blackboard Affair takes place this year at The Chicago Cultural Center on Friday, February 8th at 7pm. VIP tickets are available and include a pre-party reception from 6-7pm with exclusive VIP bar access, co-hosted by Chicago Bear's kicker Robbie Gould’s public charity, The Golden Touch. The holidays are always a time for giving back to those in need. Food pantries receive some of their highest donations of the year, toy & coat drives are abundant and bell ringers for the Salvation Army are outside of almost every store. But there’s one important group that tends to be left out of the conversation and they’re some of our best friends…our pets! If people are in need, chances are their pets need some help too.

Chicago’s Women-Only 5K: Pretty Muddy in Orland Park

The Pretty Muddy women’s mud run is arriving in Chicago on Saturday, September 15th at Pretty Muddy Farms in Orland Park. And if you hurry, you can register before the event sells out! What can you expect? A women-only event featuring obstacles, great activities, a pretty awesome after party and yes, the opportunity to get muddy.
