A competition-reality series following New York executive chef and restaurateur Josh Capon and actor/musician/restaurateur Tony Luke Jr on their insane quest to find new and unique flavor combinations by pairing existing dishes together (think chicken flavored cheesecake and turtle tacos!?!) - the result tends to either be a delicious dish...or an awful miss! Challenger states. “It’s important to understand that there are more distractions than ever in today’s workplace. If it’s not fantasy football, it’s the latest Hollywood gossip, shopping on Amazon, or checking Facebook.”

Being Charitable in Your 20’s with Cruise Chicago for a Cause

For the past few years I have been involved with Susan G. Komen 3 Day Event (a 60 mile walk spanning over 3 days). Since 2008 our team has raised over $75,000 towards the cause. I thought, hey, I’m doing my part, right? But, breast cancer just scratches the surface. On top of illnesses and disease, our nation, even our city of Chicago, faces serious issues with bullying and cruelty, poverty, gangs, unclean water, sex trafficking, the woes in this world are incredible and like most 20-somethings, actually, like most middle-class Americans, these causes were not affecting me.

Chicago Bears and Miller Lite Football Season KickOff Concert

The Chicago Bears, and Miller Lite are teaming up to bring you the hottest football kickoff party and concert around. This event will take place on Friday September 5th at the House of Blues located in Chicago, and doors will open at 7pm with a live concert at 8pm.

Marvel Weekend at Hollywood Palms Naperville

This weekend Cracker Comic Books and Hollywood Palms are teaming up to bring you Marvel Weekend. On Saturday, Jim Brozman, a successful comic book artist, will be holding a drawing class at 11am. The class is only $15, and all the materials for the class will be provided. Jim will also be holding an autograph and question and answers session. There will also be an Avengers Screening, a super hero class, Marvel masks and symbol face painting, meet and greet with comic book characters, live demonstrations, and more!

Chicago Fire Soccer Club 4th Annual White Party

On August 7th, the Chicago Fire Soccer Club is hosting the fourth annual White Party at the MCA Warehouse. Named one of the Chicago Tribune’s top parties of 2013, this marquee event will feature a premium open bar, food from top Chicago restaurants including Rockit Bar & Grill, a live DJ, appearances by Chicago Fire players and more! Windy City Rubber Duck Derby

For the past few years, I have attended the Windy City Rubber Duck Derby here in Chicago. For those of you who haven’t been to the Rubber Duck Derby you can go on Thursday, August 7th. The event is held every year to benefit the Special Olympics of Illinois. Since 1968 the organization has been helping people with intellectual disabilities, and there are over 22,000 athletes who participate in this program.
