The Green Tie Ball is back for it's 22nd year of celebration! You won't want to miss one of the most anticipated charity events of the year!

For two years, I have been involved with a great organization called StreetWise. After all this time working with them, I have begun to view it as an extension of my family. For those of you who don’t know, StreetWise is one of the largest homeless street magazines in the world and has been serving those in need for 20 years.

Fashion, charity and hope; that’s what Wrist Wishes is all about. I'm Nicole LaCross and I started Wrist Wishes in August 2012 after my mom successfully beat breast cancer for the second time. I was so inspired by her strength and positive attitude that I wanted to give back to our inspiring Chicagoland community. I started to research various local organizations and realized there were so many inspirational people locally who had dedicated their lives to giving back to a community that gives so much to those in need. I wanted to be a part of this community.

Hey Chicago! I am Liz Whelan and I'm working with Rainbows For All Children, the Chicago-based non-profit that focuses solely on helping children overcome the grief, fear and sadness that comes after a significant loss or tragedy. They are celebrating a milestone birthday and you are invited to help support their cause.

It’s a New Year and time to get rid of that all those clothes and accessories you have not worn for 2+ years. That is the rule of thumb – if you have not worn it in 2 years it is time to get rid of it! Summer nights in the city are fun. The warm weather gives us plenty of activities to do at night! Last year, Whole Foods Market in Lincoln Park had a bike-in movie night and they are bringing it back!

Watch out! This summer GIRLS really will run the world! On June 9th at 8:30 a.m., 13,000 participants, 3,000 spectators and 500 volunteers will come out to Soldier Field for the Girls on the Run 5k run and walk.
