Tipsy Paint: a social spin on classic painting classes June 4, 2013 When’s the last time you did something creative? Unless you work as an artist, its probably been a long time. Tipsy Paint is where entertainment is an art form. It’s a social spin on classic painting classes. They supply the canvas, acrylic paint, brushes, aprons and other art materials. You supply the fun, food and beverages! Tipsy Paint is perfect for a date night, bachelorette parties, wedding and baby showers, birthday parties, fundraisers and many other fun day or night outings. The studio, founded by Hap Proesel, is located in Glenview, which is just about 20 minutes north of Chicago. Anyone can choose from a variety of classes, which include: Social Painting – Held nightly, professional artists offer step-by-step painting instruction. Open Studio- Both supervised and unsupervised classes are offered, as indicated on the Tipsy Paint Calendar. Private Events- Tipsy Paint will create memories for any occasion. Corporate Events- The perfect team-building exercise. Tipsy Kids- Led by experienced instructors great for kids aged 3 through 12. Technique Class- Traditional art class, available as weekly sessions. “It’s incredible to see people come in here, nervous that they won’t be able to complete the painting and by the end of the class they are ready to paint another picture” said Proesel. “It really makes me feel good to watch people discover what they are capable of.” -Dara Shlifka 2 Responses Jamie Izaks June 6, 2013 Good evening Can you post this to the A Chicago Thing home page and/or through a social media entry on Facebook or Twitter?
