Autism Speaks at Eyas Landing and Blue Bird Day’s First Annual Expressions Gala

Did you know that 1 in 68 children are born with autism in the US? Autism Spectrum Disorder is a developmental disability impacting hundreds of families within our community on a daily basis. There is currently no cure for Autism Spectrum Disorder, but increasing research shows that early detection and high quality early intervention help children with autism overcome many obstacles.

Dress your best and join us to benefit Autism Speaks at Eyas Landing and Blue Bird Day’s First Annual Expressions Gala at ArtSpace 8 on May 7^th from 6-9pm. Come and enjoy live music by Deaf Dog Records. Wine, alcohol, and light hors d’oeuvres will be served. Artwork by our clients and students, as well as professional artists, will be available for sale. There will also be a silent auction with donations from organizations including The Daily Method, Barre Code, Aloft Chicago, Beatrix, J&J Oriental Rug Gallery, Salon Buzz, Mark Russell Clothing, Soupbox, School Readiness Center, Charles Ifergan Salon, Richards Graphic Communications, Inc., Anton Argires, Rockit Ranch Productions, Sassoon Salon, A Little Photo Shop, tickets to Chicago sporting events and much more! All proceeds will support Eyas Landing and Blue Bird Day’s team for the Chicago Autism Speaks Walk on May 14^th at Soldier Field.

Eyas Landing and Blue Bird Day School are a pediatric therapy clinic and therapeutic school program, located in the west loop of Chicago.  They provide pediatric therapy services for children with a variety of disabilities, many of whom are diagnosed with autism. Their dedicated team of professionals specialize in evidence-based practice, early detection and intervention, and relationship-based care. Come and join them for a night out on the town to celebrate all of the accomplishments their clients make on daily basis! Cocktail attire preferred as this is an adult only event and validated parking is available.
