Eurofest 2013 at Chicago French Market!

Oui oui! Bonjour!

Want to travel to Europe without leaving Chicago?  (well, actually, no I’m sure we would all rather be in Europe!) But hey! Let’s save ourselves some money and head to the Chicago French Market for the FREE Eurofest event this Saturday!

There is really something for everyone here- Yes, it’s true you will find me sampling some tasty European culinary treats such as olive oils and vinegars from Oh! Olive, tea tastings from Bello Tea, and, of course, French Macarons from Vanille Patisserie, BUT it doesn’t end there.  Come out and see all the artisan vendors such as City Fresh Market, Wisma, Lavazza Espressions, Flip Crepes, Raw, and Spicy Monkey Soup Company.  Trust me, you will be satisfied!  And as if that isn’t alluring enough, there is still a lot more to offer!  There will be demonstrations to be viewed, European music to be enjoyed, and shops to be explored!

The French Market alone is something worth checking out, with 30 specialty vendors all in one spot offering everything from fresh European inspired ingredients to take home with you to cook up that special meal you have been craving from the motherland, or to just grab a quick and scrumptious on the go meal any time of the day!

So why not grab your bff or significant other and transport to another country for a few hours?? And don’t forget your appetite… See you there!
