GIRLS 4 SCIENCE KICK’S OFF THE START OF SUMMER WITH THE 6TH ANNUAL GARDEN PARTY FUNDRAISER

The beginning of summer is near and this Chicago nonprofit is inviting you to celebrate right!  Join Girls 4 Science  at their 6^th Annual Garden Party Fundraiser and support Chicagoland girls who are pursuing a future in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) programs. Relish in the warm summer air with refreshing cocktails, delicious hors d’oeuvres and fun raffle prizes all while celebrating the hard work of Girls 4 Science students.

The summer fundraiser will take place on Friday, June 23, at 410 Wesley Avenue, a private residence in Evanston, IL, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and will showcase poster displays of Girls 4 Science participants’ work.

Girls 4 Science is dedicated to exposing Chicago girls ages 10-18 to opportunities in STEM and to overcoming the barriers that prevent them from achieving greater success in STEM careers. Since its inception in 2009 the organization has expanded to offer STEM programs in four Chicagoland areas with over 500 participants.

This year’s Garden Party will raise funds to support Girls 4 Science initiatives including weekly STEM sessions, field trips, science camps and more.
