One of my favorite events of the summer is this Thursday, July 11th! This marks the 8th annual Gaming for Green fundraiser, a poker and casino night benefiting Chicago Gateway Green, the organization dedicated to greening and beautifying Chicago & behind the biggest charity of the summer Green Tie Ball!

When I was a kid, I had the best time at camp (I'm sure you did too!) – which is why I'm co-chairing this year's Campfire Ball at Venue One, benefiting Children's Oncology Services, Inc. and its One Step Camp for kids with cancer.

Fashion, charity and hope; that’s what Wrist Wishes is all about. I'm Nicole LaCross and I started Wrist Wishes in August 2012 after my mom successfully beat breast cancer for the second time. I was so inspired by her strength and positive attitude that I wanted to give back to our inspiring Chicagoland community. I started to research various local organizations and realized there were so many inspirational people locally who had dedicated their lives to giving back to a community that gives so much to those in need. I wanted to be a part of this community.
